Anatomical modelling for Surgical and Veterinary Planning

Voxel Medical combines anatomical modelling with engineering design to provide services for patient specific models, training simulation models and product development.

Services

Medical image showing side and cross-sectional views of a human spine with color-coded sections highlighting specific vertebrae and spinal regions, including the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar areas, with labels from Voxel Medical.

Anatomical Modelling

This service allows for the conversion from CT and MRI data to high precision 3D anatomical models of required anatomy. This includes orthopaedics, trauma, cardiac, oncology and veterinary specialities. The models produced can be an exact replica of the patient anatomy or an idealised version allowing for more general planning and reducing artefacts.

This service allows for engineering design to be applied to anatomical models, implementing articulations, fluid flow etc to allow models and phantoms to be produced which more closely mimic the in vivo mechanisms.

Allowing procedures to be planned/taught on a system that provides feedback to the process rather than just a passive static model.

Engineering Service

This service allows for a library of standard models to be purchased for a fixed price from a catalogue to be used as required by the customer. This includes demonstration models across all pathologies and will be built upon over time.

This service involves running training courses on segmentation of anatomical scans as well as printing and processing of 3D printed parts. These cover basic, intermediate and advanced training courses.
